Panic! on the Disco is a pop rock/electronica band established out of Las Vegas, Nevada. The band is created from Brendon Urie (vocals, guitar, keyboard) and his early life chum, Spencer Smiths (drums), which include their schoolmate, Ryan Ross (guitar, keyboard, backing vocals).
To advertise their tune, the band made contact with Pete Wentz (of Fall Out Boy) thru his kpop album unboxing LiveJournal webpage. Impressed with the aid of the band, Wentz in my view met with the band and signed them to his imprint label Decaydance. Under the label, the band published their debut album, A Fever You Cant Sweat Out, which may debut at #112 on the Billboard 200 album charts.
Featured in Spin journal as their band of the day in early October 2005, reaching #1 at the MySpace chart, and always staying in PureVolumes Top 10 chart, would solely aid grow the bands attractiveness. An visual appeal on MTVs TRL on January 17, 2006, on the top-rated of their music video for I Write Sins Not Tragedies, also helped garner the band a great deal exposure.
To date, the bands 2005 debut album, A Fever you Cant Sweat Out has sold over 750,000 contraptions. The band is lately headlining a North American summer time journey with The Dresden Dolls and The Hush Sound, a band also signed to Decaydance.
